The VK Blue combines air sterilization and purification technologies to create a seamless unit ideal for medium to large rooms.
In addition to its HEPA filter – which traps inert particles such as dust and pollen – the VK Blue makes great use of NASA-grade photocatalytic oxidation reactors. The reactor consists of 8 UVC lamps illuminating a total of 40 chromed, titanium dioxide coated, hexagon-patterned tubes. This setup maximizes the formation of hydroxyl radicals, which attack biological contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, mold and fungi.
To aid with sterilization, loose activated carbon filters are added. These help slow the movement of toxic gases from domestic cleaning agents, furniture and traffic pollutions, facilitating their neutralization.
The VK Blue’s size and ability to be surface-stood or wall-mounted results in a small footprint – virtually negligible effect on the room’s available space.
With its optimized arsenal of filters and sterilization reactor, the VK Blue easily captures particulate matter and eliminates bacteria, viruses and fungi to a 99.9999% efficiency. Besides that, it eliminates odors and neutralizes toxic chemicals such as traffic pollution products, formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds.
